«Bell'alberghetto elegante con ogni comfoprt, ma in zona semiperiferica.»
Camera molto grande, con salottino ed ogni comfort. Colazione eccezionale: del "salato" c'è di tutto e di più; del dolce poca scelta, ma tutto ottimo. Macchinetta automatica di caffè e cappuccino perfetta, meglio che al bar in Italia! Con una colazione così, non occorre pranzare (anche perchè lì si cena alle 18,30-19,00 ed alle 21,00 i ristoranti sono tutti già quasi vuoti!). Personale disponibile e gentile.
Per accedere a quasi tutte le camere dal livello ascensore ci sono 5-6 scalini alti, scomodo con valigia pesante, specie per una signora. L'Hotel è sì sul canale e, benchè vicino al centro, a circa 1 Km., viste le piccole dimensioni di Bruges, di fatto, è semiperiferico e tutt'intorno non c'è un bar, un ristorante, proprio nulla! Anzi, le strade adiacenti sembrano sempre quasi abbandonate, benchè anche a soli 500 metri dal Centro. Ma tutta Bruges è così: un centro piccolissimo, molto bello, frequentatissimo che ci si urta a piedi e tutt'intorno una città che sembra abbandonata dai cittadini, con più case vuote che abitate, spettrale di notte. Però consiglio di vederla! Un giorno e mezzo bastano. In generale a Bruges: fate attenzione ai taxi: il tassametro parte dal minimo di 10€ , benchè per i brevi percorsi da fare di rado supera 11-12 €, nè può raggiungere diverse zone pedonali. E' meglio camminare
